CranioSacral Therapy (C.S.T.) is finally making it’s way into the mainstream for manual therapies. An Advanced technique developed by osteopath and researcher Dr. John Upledger. At the Upledger Institute there are many different hand positions for myofascial release treating many different conditions. The premise is simple in how it restores the body to balance; go in the direction of ease. The techniques we most commonly use in myofacial release are holds on the head, sacrum and joints including therapeutic dialog, imagery, and mouth work for TMJ dysfunction. C.S.T. is relaxing, rejuvenating and very often life changing.

Past and recent studies have shown it to help Fibromyalgia, Migraines, Chronic pain, Scoliosis, Trauma, STSD, Autism, Learning Disabilities, Central Nervous System Disorders and more.

I realize this is quite a list, however, I believe it to be the most effective and non-invasive technique for any condition. Our bodies now-a-days are under more stress which over time taxes the central nervous system (C.N.S). It can get to the point where you forget how to relax. Relaxing the C.N.S.; the core of our being, is the right formula for healing. It may not happen over night but sometimes it can. When I first learned this technique I felt I was opening a door of many possibilities I never thought existed. If we can free up old restrictions and patterns in the body then we view the world with out pain one person at a time.
